New Era at Benchmark

On September 13, 2018, Mike Barnett stepped down from his position as CEO of the Benchmark family of companies, a role he has held since 1986. He will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board, as he has done for the past 40 years. Jonathan Filgo, will assume the position of CEO, an accomplished and worthy successor. Jonathan formerly served as President of Benchmark Title. Bill Brewer remains as Bank President and Ben Murphy has been named the new President of the Title Company. Under Mike’s guidance, Benchmark Bank, Title and Private Wealth have enjoyed great success and expansion and plan to continue this upward trend for the foreseeable future.
